It says it all…… even more

A few days ago I posted a You Tube video of the song God of the Moon and Stars. Thanks to Marcia who pointed out that the version of this song omitted that our Lord is also”God of the gay and singles bars.” Please find what I think is the original version of this song by Kees Kraayenoord which puts this right. Our God is God of all and I am shocked that this section needed to be edited to out. Perhaps someone will blog and say why?

Hold that word

That almost escaped,

Pursue the echo.

 

Hold that place

Where words have failed

On the tip of your tongue.

 

Hold that thought

Of almost inspiration.

Where emptiness intrudes.

 

Hold that poem

At the moment of waking,

Before the white-wash of day.

 

Hold that prayer

Suspended over the world,

And feel Him speak.
